BREAKING!!! FG Bans Sale Of Cigarettes, List Places Where Smoking Is Prohibited And Jail Sentence. [Must Read]

The Federal government has announced the ban on the sale of cigarettes to persons below the age of 18. Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, made the announcement during a press briefing in Abuja as part of activities to mark the World No Tobacco Day, yesterday May 31st. prohibition of sale of tobacco products to and by anyone below 18; ban of sale of cigarettes in single sticks. Cigarettes must be sold in packs of 20 sticks only; and smokeless tobacco shall be sold in a minimum of a pack of 30 grams.


Ban of sale or offer for sale or distribution of tobacco or tobacco products through mail, internet or other online device; prohibition of interference of tobacco industry in public health and related issues; and Prohibition of smoking in anywhere on the premises of a child care facility; educational facility; and health care facility. “Other prohibited places for smoking include playgrounds; amusement parks; plazas; public parks; stadium, public transports, restaurants, bars, or other public gathering spaces.” Adwole also called for the prosecution of owners or managers of any of the places listed above, who permits, encourages or fails to stop smoking in the above listed places.

Popular Nigerian singer, Johnson-Hunga Oyindamola Emmanuel popularly known as Dammykrane, was arrested today, June 3 in Miami, U.S, for grand theft, credit card and identity fraud, Instablog9ja reports.

We gathered that Dammykrane who is now being held at Dade county was granted bail set at $17,500 (₦6.8Million). He was arrested alongside Chukwuebuka today in Miami. See photos below:

This happened to my friend yesterday, thou it happened to me indirectly because i borrowed her the money. she was matched with a guy who was supposed to pay her on mmm, on the day he is to pay, the guy called her to tell her that he was going to pay her that he is in the bank so few minuets later, she got a credit alert text. Then immediately the guy called her to ask her to please confirm his payment she agreed to do that. While she was trying to log in, she was missing her captcha so she decided to use another browser, while she was trying to load the browser a thought came to her to even check her account balance. She went to the text she got and found out that her total account balance is missing.

She was confused because its unlikely for Gtbank to send u credit alert and not include your balance. Then the guy called back. She told him she is trying to verify something that she will confirm when she is done, the guy tried persuading her to buy. thank God she didn’t. She went to the ATM that evening and Lo and behold the money wasn’t in her account. The message she saw was a bulk SMS constructed like a bank alert that was why her account balance wasn’t there. Imagine how many people this guy must have scammed and get away with it. If she had confirm him, there is nothing mmm could have done because the guy had been confirmed already. So please let’s be smart. Make sure your account balance reflect in your credit alert before confirming.
